Privacy

This site measures audience, receives what you submit through the contact form and, if you choose to open a conversation, prepares a WhatsApp message with part of that data. Nothing happens outside those situations. Below is exactly what happens, without contract language.

Who processes your data

  • Guilherme Soares Sousa Silva

This site presents systems, integrations and automation services, as well as a portfolio, technical content and Contatools, an initiative of tools for accounting routines.

What this site collects

Two things, and they are independent. The first is the contact page form: I only receive what you type into it and submit. Until you submit it, nothing leaves your browser.

The second is audience measurement, so I can understand which pages are read and which links are used. It is done through Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, and has nothing to do with the form.

There is also a third thing that does not leave your device: if you start the diagnosis, the five answers are stored in the tab's memory so you do not lose your progress when going back to a question. They are only the numbers of the selected options, disappear when you close the tab, and are not sent unless you choose to continue to contact.

Data you send through the form

Only if you fill in and submit the contact page form. These are the fields, and no others:

  • Name, so I know whom I am speaking with.
  • WhatsApp, which is the response channel.
  • Company or operation.
  • Your description of what is getting in the way.
  • Team size and revenue range, both optional, with an option not to provide them.
  • The source page and campaign parameters from the URL (utm_source and similar), when present.

The legal basis here differs from measurement: it is your consent, given in the checkbox beside the submit button, for the processing needed to answer your contact. The submission goes through a Cloudflare Worker and reaches me by email through Resend, Inc. The data stays in my email inbox for as long as the conversation has commercial relevance, and you can ask for deletion at any time using the address at the end of this page. If, after a successful submission, you choose to open the WhatsApp conversation, the pre-filled message also shares with WhatsApp, a Meta Platforms, Inc. service, your name, company or operation, and a summary of what is getting in the way. This is separate from form submission and audience measurement.

Data processed for measurement

  • Pages visited, with date and time.
  • Clicks on contact, project and article links.
  • Visit source: search, direct link or social network.
  • Approximate city and country, derived from the IP address.
  • Device type, browser, language and screen resolution.
  • A random browser identifier, stored in a cookie.

Measurement receives nothing from the form: what you type is not sent to Google Analytics, not even your name. What it records about a submission is only that a submission happened, whether you informed a revenue range (yes or no, never the range), and which page it came from. Google Analytics uses the IP address to infer approximate location and does not make it available in reports.

Purpose and legal basis

There is one purpose: to understand how the site is used so I can decide what to write and improve. There is no profiling, advertising, sale of data or automated decision about you.

The legal basis is legitimate interest under Brazilian data protection law (LGPD): aggregated audience measurement is needed to maintain and improve the site, and the impact on you is minimal because no identifying data is collected. If you prefer not to participate, the next section explains how to refuse it, and the site works the same way.

Cookies

There are two, both from Google Analytics and stored on this site's domain:

  • _ga — distinguishes browsers from one another. Valid for 400 days.
  • _ga_CLF64LDB1G — keeps the session state for this Analytics property. Valid for 400 days.

In addition, if you switch between light and dark themes, your choice is stored in your browser under the gsw-theme key. It does not leave your device, is not sent anywhere and is not used for measurement.

Who data is shared with

Google LLC, as an operator, through Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager. Google's processing follows its privacy policy.

Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts and delivers the site and runs the service that receives the form. It processes technical connection data, such as the IP address, to serve pages and prevent abuse.

Resend, Inc., as an operator, only to deliver me the email containing the form content you submitted.

WhatsApp, a service of Meta Platforms, Inc., when you choose to open the conversation. The pre-filled message contains your name, company or operation, and a summary of the pain described in the form.

Outside these situations, there is no other sharing. No data is sold or provided for advertising purposes.

International transfer

Google and Cloudflare operate servers outside Brazil, so measurement and connection data are processed abroad, mainly in the United States. This transfer relies on the clauses and contractual commitments each company offers its customers.

How long data is kept

  • Event data in Google Analytics: 2 months.
  • Data associated with the browser identifier: 14 months.
  • _ga and _ga_CLF64LDB1G cookies: 400 days, or until you clear site data.
  • Theme preference: stays in your browser until you clear site data.
  • Diagnosis answers: stay in the tab's memory and disappear when you close it.

These are the periods actually configured in the Analytics property, not assumed default values.

Security

The site is served only over HTTPS, with HSTS, and applies a content security policy that restricts where scripts, styles and connections can come from. It is static: there is no database or logged-in area, and form submissions are not stored in an in-house database — they become an email and stop there.

How to refuse measurement

You can block measurement in your browser with any tracker-blocking extension, or by deleting this site's cookies. Nothing on the site depends on measurement to work.

Your rights

Brazil's LGPD gives you the right to confirm whether data is processed, access it, correct incomplete or outdated data, request anonymization, blocking or deletion, request portability, learn with whom it was shared, and object to processing based on legitimate interest.

To exercise any of them, write to contato@guilhermesoaresweb.com.br. I respond personally. If you have never submitted the form, there is probably no record of you: measurement does not store data that identifies you.

Changes to this policy

If the site starts processing data differently, this page changes with it and the date below is updated. Last reviewed: September 11, 2026.
